Candlestick charts har trader ki daily life ka part hain. Lekin kya tumhe saare important patterns pata hain? Yeh cheat sheet tujhe har important candlestick pattern ek jagah pe dein.
Ek candle = 4 prices:
• Open: Candle ka start price
• High: Period ka highest price
• Low: Period ka lowest price
• Close: Candle ka end price
Green/White candle = Close > Open (bullish) Red/Black candle = Close < Open (bearish)
Upper shadow (wick): High - max(Open, Close) Lower shadow (tail): min(Open, Close) - Low
1. Doji (दोजी):
• Dikhta kaise: Open aur Close almost same — body bahut chhoti ya line jaisi
• Matlab: Indecision — buyers aur sellers mein balance
• Action: Trend context mein dekho. Uptrend ke baad doji = reversal possible. Downtrend ke baad doji = bottom possible.
• Types:
• Standard Doji: Body almost invisible
• Long-legged Doji (Rickshaw man): Long shadows dono sides — high volatility, indecision
• Dragonfly Doji: Long lower shadow, no upper shadow — bullish reversal signal (downtrend mein)
• Gravestone Doji: Long upper shadow, no lower shadow — bearish reversal signal (uptrend mein)
2. Hammer (हैमर):
• Dikhta kaise: Chhoti body (top pe), long lower shadow (2x body se zyada), no/very small upper shadow
• Matlab: Sellers ne price neeche push kiya lekin buyers ne wapas khareecha — bullish rejection
• Action: Downtrend ke end mein appear ho to bullish reversal signal. Confirmation ke liye next candle green ho.
• Color: Green ya red dono valid hain, lekin green zyada strong
3. Hanging Man (लटकता आदमी):
• Dikhta kaise: Hammer jaisa hi — chhoti body, long lower shadow, no upper shadow
• Matlab: Same as hammer BUT uptrend ke top pe appear ho to bearish reversal
• Action: Uptrend ke baad yeh appear ho to caution. Next candle red ho to sell.
• Color: Red zyada bearish
4. Shooting Star (टिनका तारा):
• Dikhta kaise: Chhoti body (bottom pe), long upper shadow (2x body se zyada), no/very small lower shadow
• Matlab: Buyers ne price upar push kiya lekin sellers ne wapas becha — bearish rejection
• Action: Uptrend ke top pe appear ho to bearish reversal signal. Next candle red ho to confirm.
• Color: Red zyada strong
5. Inverted Hammer (उल्टा हैमर):
• Dikhta kaise: Shooting Star jaisa — chhoti body (bottom pe), long upper shadow
• Matlab: Downtrend ke bottom pe appear ho to bullish reversal signal
• Action: Confirmation ke liye next candle green ho. Gap up green = strong buy signal.
6. Spinning Top (घूमता लट्टू):
• Dikhta kaise: Chhoti body, long shadows dono sides
• Matlab: Indecision — volatility high lekin direction clear nahi
• Action: Trend ke context mein dekho. Breakout/breakdown ke baad spinning top = pause, trend continue ho sakta ya reverse.
7. Marubozu (मारुबोज़ू):
• Dikhta kaise: No shadows (ya bahut chhote) — sirf body
• Green Marubozu: Open = Low, Close = High — sabse bullish candle
• Red Marubozu: Open = High, Close = Low — sabse bearish candle
• Matlab: Full control — green mein buyers dominant, red mein sellers dominant
• Action: Trend direction mein strong move. Green marubozu support pe = buy. Red marubozu resistance pe = sell.
8. Bullish Engulfing (बुलिश एंगल्फिंग):
• Dikhta kaise: Pehli red candle, doosri green candle — green body pehle red body ko completely cover karti hai
• Matlab: Buyers ne sellers ko overwhelm kar diya — strong bullish reversal
• Action: Downtrend ke bottom pe appear ho to strong buy signal. Next candle green ho to confirm.
• Volume: High volume pe engulfing = zyada strong
9. Bearish Engulfing (बेयरिश एंगल्फिंग):
• Dikhta kaise: Pehli green candle, doosri red candle — red body pehle green body ko completely cover karti hai
• Matlab: Sellers ne buyers ko overwhelm — strong bearish reversal
• Action: Uptrend ke top pe appear ho to strong sell signal. Next candle red ho to confirm.
10. Tweezer Top (ट्वीज़र टॉप):
• Dikhta kaise: Do candles ka high same level pe, pehli green doosri red
• Matlab: Resistance pe rejection — buyers dono baar fail
• Action: Uptrend ke top pe = bearish reversal signal. Stop loss = tweezer high ke upar.
11. Tweezer Bottom (ट्वीज़र बॉटम):
• Dikhta kaise: Do candles ka low same level pe, pehli red doosri green
• Matlab: Support pe rejection — sellers dono baar fail
• Action: Downtrend ke bottom pe = bullish reversal signal. Stop loss = tweezer low ke neeche.
12. Harami (हरमी):
• Bullish Harami: Pehli red (big), doosri green (small, pehli ke body ke andar)
• Matlab: Sellers weak ho rahe, buyers enter — reversal signal
• Action: Downtrend mein = bullish reversal. Confirmation next green candle.
• Bearish Harami: Pehli green (big), doosri red (small, pehli ke body ke andar)
• Matlab: Buyers weak, sellers enter — reversal signal
• Action: Uptrend mein = bearish reversal. Confirmation next red candle.
13. Piercing Line (भेदी लाइन):
• Dikhta kaise: Pehli red candle, doosri green candle — green ka Open pehle red ke low se neeche, Close red ki body ke aadhe se upar
• Matlab: Sellers ne gap down kiya but buyers ne wapas push — bullish reversal
• Action: Downtrend ke bottom pe = strong buy signal
14. Dark Cloud Cover (काला बादल):
• Dikhta kaise: Pehli green candle, doosri red candle — red ka Open pehle green ke high se upar, Close green ki body ke aadhe se neeche
• Matlab: Buyers ne gap up kiya but sellers ne push down — bearish reversal
• Action: Uptrend ke top pe = strong sell signal
15. Morning Star (मॉर्निंग स्टार):
• Dikhta kaise: 3 candles — (1) Red big, (2) Small body (green ya red) gap down, (3) Green big candle jo pehli red ke body ke aadhe se upar close
• Matlab: Sellers exhausted, indecision, buyers take control — bullish reversal
• Action: Downtrend ke bottom pe = very strong buy signal. Volume increasing = stronger.
16. Evening Star (ईवनिंग स्टार):
• Dikhta kaise: 3 candles — (1) Green big, (2) Small body gap up, (3) Red big candle jo pehli green ke body ke aadhe se neeche close
• Matlab: Buyers exhausted, indecision, sellers take control — bearish reversal
• Action: Uptrend ke top pe = very strong sell signal. Volume increasing = stronger.
17. Three White Soldiers (तीन सफेद सैनिक):
• Dikhta kaise: 3 consecutive green candles, each higher close, each higher high, small lower shadows
• Matlab: Strong sustained buying — bullish reversal/continuation
• Action: Downtrend ke baad = strong reversal. Support pe = strong buy. All 3 candles increasing volume = strongest.
18. Three Black Crows (तीन काले कौवे):
• Dikhta kaise: 3 consecutive red candles, each lower close, each lower low, small upper shadows
• Matlab: Strong sustained selling — bearish reversal/continuation
• Action: Uptrend ke baad = strong reversal. Resistance pe = strong sell. All 3 candles increasing volume = strongest.
19. Three Inside Up:
• Dikhta kaise: (1) Red big, (2) Green small (harami pattern), (3) Green bigger jo pehli red ki high se upar close
• Matlab: Harami confirmation + breakout — bullish reversal confirmed
• Action: Strong buy signal. Stop loss = pehli red ka low.
20. Three Inside Down:
• Dikhta kaise: (1) Green big, (2) Red small (harami pattern), (3) Red bigger jo pehli green ki low se neeche close
• Matlab: Harami confirmation + breakdown — bearish reversal confirmed
• Action: Strong sell signal. Stop loss = pehli green ka high.

• Context is king: Candlestick patterns kabhi akele trade mat karo. Trend, support/resistance, volume — sab dekho.
• Confirmation: 1-2 candles ka wait karo confirm ke liye. Breakout pe enter karo, na ki pattern pe.
• Volume matters: High volume pe pattern = strong. Low volume = weak signal.
• Timeframe: Higher timeframe (daily/weekly) patterns = zyada reliable. 1-min/5-min = noise.
• Stop loss hamesha: Pattern ke low/high ke neeche/upar stop loss lagao.
• Don't force patterns: Har candle pattern nahi hai. Sirf clear, obvious patterns trade karo.
