Increase the size of a PDF

Some upload forms set a floor as well as a ceiling — a 40 KB scan gets turned away for being under 100 KB. This pads the file up to the size you name without touching a single visible page.

How to increase the size of a PDF

• Add the PDF that is being rejected as too small.
• Name the size it needs to reach.
• Download the padded PDF — the pages are untouched.

This runs in your browser. The file is not uploaded, there is no account to create, and nothing is added to the document you download.

Questions about increase pdf size

Why would anyone need to make a PDF bigger?

Because some upload forms set a floor as well as a ceiling, and a 40 KB scan gets turned away for being under 100 KB. This pads the file up to the size you name.

Does padding change how the document looks?

No. Not a single visible page is touched — the pages you had are the pages you get, at a larger file size.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. The file is opened, changed and written by this browser tab — it is never sent to a server, so there is no queue to wait in and nothing to delete afterwards. Once the page has loaded you can turn the network off and the tool still works.
